• Hastings Old Town - stroll around the antique shops, explore the twittens and stop for a pint from the microbrewery in the Filo (First In Last Out)
• Rock-a-Nore - visit Europe's largest beach-based fishing fleet and buy fresh fish direct from the fishermen's huts
• Hastings Country Park - take Britain's steepest funicular railway up to the miles of stunning clifftop walks
• Hastings & St Leonards seafront - watch the magnificent sunsets behind Hastings Pier and Beachy Head
• Play on the beach - at low tide there are huge stretches of flat sand
• Great restaurants - superb food at places like St Clements, Dragon Bar or Boulevard Books (a 'hidden' Thai gem!)
• Fish & Chips - so many to choose from but the best by miles is Maggies (above the fish market in Rock-a-Nore)
• Stunning architecture - take a leisurely tour around Decimus Burton's St Leonards-on-Sea
